Visionboard

It all begins with an idea.

Together, we are called to be instruments of God’s love and grace, spreading the message of Jesus Christ wherever He leads us. Our mission is rooted in service, compassion, and faithfulness, both to each other and to the communities we serve. We are committed to living out the Fruits of the Spirit - love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control - so that our actions reflect Christ to the world. As a married couple, we are stronger together, uniting our unique gifts, experiences, and perspectives to serve God’s kingdom.

Long-Term Vision

  • Building Lasting Relationships

Our vision is to see deep, lasting relationships built through trust, love, and shared experiences in Christ. We desire to leave behind communities that are empowered to continue the work of the Kingdom long after we have gone.

  • Empowering Future Generations

We aim to mentor and train other missionaries and local leaders to carry the torch forward. We believe in the power of multiplying leaders who will impact their communities for Christ.

  • Legacy of Faith

Above all, we desire to leave a legacy that reflects the love of Christ, impacting families, communities, and nations for generations to come. Our marriage and mission work are an outpouring of our faith in God, who calls us to serve and love.

Dependence on God

We recognize that our strength and success in missions come only from God. We lean on Him for guidance, provision, and protection as we navigate the challenges of missionary life. We will continue to prioritize our relationship with Him, seeking His will above all else, and trusting that He will lead us each step of the way.

Values

We are committed to embodying the fruits of the Spirit in all that we do. By cultivating love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control, we strive to reflect Christ's character in our interactions, service, and mission. These virtues guide our actions and relationships, shaping a community of grace, compassion, and integrity.

Love

A selfless, sacrificial love that seeks the well-being of others. It’s not just a feeling but a commitment to care, serve, and put others' needs before our own. It mirrors the unconditional love Christ shows us.

Joy

A deep sense of inner happiness and contentment, not based on circumstances but on a relationship with God. It’s a joy that comes from knowing we are loved by God and are part of His kingdom.

Peace

A state of calm and wholeness, both internally and in our relationships with others. It’s the peace that surpasses understanding, rooted in trusting God's plan and having harmony with others.

Patience

The ability to endure difficult situations and people without becoming frustrated or angry. It’s waiting calmly in God’s timing and showing grace in times of trial.

Kindness

The quality of being considerate, compassionate, and gentle toward others. It’s actively looking for ways to help, serve, and uplift those around us, treating everyone with respect and dignity.

Goodness

A moral excellence and integrity that reflects God's nature. It’s doing what is right, even when it’s difficult, and choosing actions that benefit others and glorify God.

Faithfulness

Being loyal, dependable, and trustworthy in our relationship with God and others. It means remaining committed to God’s will, promises, and being someone others can rely on.

Gentleness

A humble and considerate attitude toward others, marked by respect and self-control. It’s handling people and situations with care, avoiding harshness or aggression.

Self-Control

The ability to govern our desires, emotions, and actions in a way that honors God. It’s saying "no" to unhealthy impulses and staying focused on what is good, pure, and beneficial.

Servanthood

The heart of a missionary is to serve others selflessly, following Jesus' example of humility and sacrifice. It's about putting others’ needs first and serving with joy, even in difficult circumstances.

Compassion

A deep empathy for the struggles of others, leading to tangible acts of love and care. Compassion moves us to action and helps us connect with people in meaningful, life-changing ways.

Cultural Sensitivity

Respecting and valuing the diverse cultures and traditions of those we serve, and adapting our message and methods to meet them where they are without compromising the gospel.

Boldness in Faith

A willingness to stand firm in our beliefs, share the gospel with courage, and trust God to work powerfully through us, no matter the challenges or opposition we might face.

Humility

Acknowledging that we are not superior to those we serve, and approaching our mission work with an attitude of learning, growth, and dependence on God. It’s about serving without a sense of entitlement or pride.

Integrity

Living a life of honesty, transparency, and moral uprightness. Missionaries must reflect Christ in their words and actions, building trust with the communities they serve.

Perseverance

Staying committed to the mission despite difficulties, setbacks, or discouragement. A missionary's life often involves challenges, but perseverance ensures we remain faithful to God’s calling.

Evangelistic Zeal

A passionate drive to share the gospel and see others come to know Christ. It’s a burning desire to spread the hope of Jesus wherever we go.

Discipleship

Not just evangelizing, but intentionally guiding others in their faith journey, helping them grow deeper in their relationship with Jesus and equipping them to make disciples themselves.

Dependence on God

Acknowledging that we cannot do the work of missions in our own strength. Trusting God’s guidance, provision, and power is central to effective missionary work.

Statements of faith

The Holy Scriptures

We believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments to be the verbally inspired Word of God, the final authority for faith and life, inerrant in the original writings, infallible and God-breathed. (2 Tim. 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21; Matt. 5:18; John 16:12-13.)

The God Head

We believe in one true God, eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, co-eternal in being, co-identical in nature, co-equal in power and glory, and having the same attributes and perfections. (Deut. 6:4; 2 Cor. 13:14.)

The Person and Work of Christ

1. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the Eternal Son of God, became man, without ceasing to be God, having been conceived by the Holy Spirit, and born of the Virgin Mary, in order that He might reveal God, and redeem sinful men. (John 1:1; Luke 1:35.)

2. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ accomplished our redemption through His death on the cross as a representative, vicarious, substitutionary sacrifice; and, that our justification is made sure by His literal, physical resurrection from the dead. (Rom. 3:24-25; 1 Peter 2:24; Eph. 1:7; 1 Peter 1:3-5.)

3. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ ascended to heaven, and is now exalted at the right hand of God, where, as our High Priest, He fulfills the ministry of Representative, Intercessor, and Advocate. (Acts 1:9-10; Heb. 9:24, Heb. 7:25, Rom. 8:34; 1 John 2:1-2.)

The Person and Work of the Holy Spirit

1. We believe that the Holy Spirit is a person, who convicts the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment; and, that He is the Supernatural Agent in regeneration, baptizing all believers into the Body of Christ, indwelling and sealing them unto the day of redemption. (John 16:8-11; 2 Cor. 3:6; 1Cor. 12:12-14; Rom. 8:9; Eph. 1:13-14.)

2. We believe that He is the Divine Teacher, who guides believers into all truth, and, that it is the privilege and duty of all the saved to be filled with the Spirit. (John 16:13; 1 John 2:20-27; Eph. 5:18.)

The Total Depravity of Man

We believe that man was created in the image and likeness of God, but in Adam’s sin, the race fell, inherited a sinful nature, and became alienated from God; and, that man is totally depraved, and, of himself, utterly unable to remedy his lost condition. (Gen. 1:26-27; Rom. 3:22-23; Eph. 2:1-3, 12: Rom. 5:12.)

Salvation

We believe that salvation is the gift of God, brought to men by   grace and received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, whose precious blood was shed on Calvary for the forgiveness of our sins. (Eph. 2:8-10; John 1:12; Eph. 1:7: 1 Peter 1:18-19.)

Missions

We believe that it is the obligation of the saved to witness by life and by word to the truths of Holy Scripture and to seek to proclaim the Gospel to all mankind. (Mark 16:15; Acts 1:8; 2 Cor. 5:19-20.)
